About me

Hi, my name is Amihay. I am a graduate of Bezalel in the Screen Arts Department, pursuing a bachelor's degree. Currently, I work as a kindergarten teacher, after working as a graphic designer in a print house.
 

My life goal is to create an animation series for children and teenagers that will help them handle life more easaly. However, alongside big dreams, it's also important to have stable employment.
 

I believe that my strength in design lies in full control of every aspect of the work. Whether it's

- the technical side, like having a solid understanding of the software I use,

- optimizing workflows, and dynamic workflow between different programs;

- understanding the concept of the product itself, how to convey the right message, understanding the concept and goals of the client

 

I have a great passion for knowledge, and I never stop learning. I am always happy to learn new tools and things, even if it involves learning something unrelated directly to graphic design or animation, I'm up for it!

*You probably noticed that my arsenal of software is broad, and perhaps that's a mistake when looking for a specific job. However, what it means for you as a client or employer is that I can provide a broader range of solutions when there is a limitation to a specific software or field of work. If I encounter a situation where I don't know how to solve the problem, I can always turn to YouTube and learn.

Currently, I am mainly looking for jobs as an After Effects artist or video editor. In the future, I plan to focus more on 3D animation, but I am also open to taking graphic design jobs for print or web.

I have some After Effects works, but they are more geared towards fantasy movie animations rather than the current market demand. Therefore, during this period, I am willing to do some free work for those requiring After Effects editing to expand my portfolio.

The entire website was designed by me to the smallest detail (except coding) so everything is technicaly an art project.
